By downloading, installing, or using Files (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. Description of the service

Files is an Android file manager application that provides file browsing, organization, and related features, including (without limitation): managing local storage, category-based library views, file search, storage overview, a private folder protected by a pattern lock (with optional file encryption), FTP server and file sharing, optional root file browsing on rooted devices, notifications you enable, settings, and other related services. The App may also display advertisements and use analytics or remote configuration to operate and improve the service.

Files is not antivirus software and does not guarantee specific performance, battery, or storage-improvement results.

2. Eligibility and acceptance

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law, or use the App under a parent/guardian’s consent where required.
On first launch, the App may ask you to review and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and these Terms before continuing.
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the then-current Terms.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal or internal lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play’s terms.

You may not: reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), redistribute, rent, sublicense, or circumvent security features of the App.

4. User responsibilities

You are responsible for backing up important data before delete, move, or private-folder operations.
You are responsible for files you manage, share, install, or transfer (including via FTP or other network features you enable).
You must not use the App to violate law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, or interfere with devices/networks you do not own or have permission to access.
All-files access and usage-access permissions are powerful; use them only for legitimate purposes and revoke them in system settings if no longer needed.
Keep your device lock and private-folder credentials confidential.

5. Permissions and system features

Certain features require Android permissions (storage / all-files access, notifications, usage access, biometrics, boot/foreground services, package install, network, advertising-related permissions where applicable, etc.). Denying a permission may disable related features. System permission dialogs and settings remain under your control.

6. Advertising, network features, and third parties

The App may show third-party ads and use advertising / measurement SDKs as described in the Privacy Policy.
The App may contact our backend (including https://backend.moneylocation.net/) for attribution, configuration, or related product operations.
Links to Google Play (rating / updates) and policy pages open third-party services governed by their own terms.
FTP and other remote connections you configure are at your own risk; encrypt and authenticate appropriately.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its UI, trademarks, and code (excluding third-party open-source components), is owned by the developer or its licensors. Open-source components are provided under their respective licenses (see in-app open-source notices where available).

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that storage-overview tools will free a specific amount of space or improve device performance to any guaranteed degree.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP — including data loss from file operations you initiate.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if the App was free).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

10. Updates and availability

We may provide updates via Google Play that modify features, permissions, advertising, or these Terms. We may suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, policy, or legal reasons.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may restrict access if you materially breach these Terms or if required by law or Google Play policy. Sections that by nature should survive (IP, disclaimer, liability, etc.) will survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer as identified on the Google Play store listing for Files (com.laser.filemanager), without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.

本应用不是杀毒软件，也不保证特定的性能、续航或存储释放效果。

2. 接受条款

您须具备适用法律规定的缔约能力，或在需要时取得监护人同意；
首次启动时，应用可能要求您阅读并确认隐私政策与本条款后方可继续；
更新后继续使用，视为接受届时有效的条款。

3. 许可

我们授予您有限、非独占、不可转让、可撤销的许可，以便在您拥有或控制的设备上安装并合法使用本应用，并遵守本条款与 Google Play 条款。

未经允许，不得对本应用进行反向工程（法律强制允许的除外）、再分发、出租、转授权或规避安全机制。

4. 用户责任

在删除、移动或放入私密文件夹前，请自行备份重要数据；
您对管理、分享、安装或传输的文件负责（包括您启用的 FTP 等网络功能）；
不得利用本应用从事违法、侵权、传播恶意软件或未授权访问他人设备/网络的行为；
“所有文件访问”“使用情况访问”等权限请仅用于正当目的，不再需要时可在系统设置中关闭；
妥善保管设备锁屏与私密文件夹凭据。

5. 权限与系统功能

部分功能需要存储 / 所有文件访问、通知、使用情况访问、生物识别、开机/前台服务、安装应用、网络，以及在适用情况下与广告相关的权限。拒绝权限可能导致对应功能不可用。系统权限对话框与设置由您控制。

6. 广告、网络功能与第三方

应用可能展示第三方广告，并按隐私政策使用广告 / 衡量 SDK；
应用可能联系我们的后端（包括 https://backend.moneylocation.net/）进行归因、配置或相关产品运营；
跳转 Google Play（评分 / 更新）及政策页面适用第三方自身条款；
您自行配置的 FTP 等远程连接风险自负，请妥善加密与鉴权。

7. 知识产权

本应用（不含开源组件）的界面、标识与代码归开发者或其许可方所有。开源组件适用各自许可证（以应用内开源声明为准，如有）。

8. 免责声明

本应用按“现状”和“可用”基础提供，不作任何明示或暗示保证，包括适销性、特定用途适用性与非侵权。我们不保证服务不中断、无错误，或存储概览相关功能达到特定空间释放量或设备性能提升。

9. 责任限制

在法律允许的最大范围内，我们对因使用或无法使用本应用产生的间接、附带、特殊、后果性或惩罚性损害，以及数据、利润或业务损失不承担责任（包括您主动发起的文件操作导致的数据损失）。

就与本应用有关的任何索赔，我们的总责任不超过您在索赔前十二个月内就本应用向我们支付的费用（若免费则为零）。部分法域不允许某些限制，则限制以法律允许的最大范围为限。

10. 更新与可用性

我们可能通过 Google Play 提供更新并变更功能、权限、广告或本条款；也可能因维护、政策或法律原因暂停或下线部分功能。

11. 终止

您可随时卸载本应用。若您严重违反本条款，或应法律 / Google Play 政策要求，我们可能限制使用。依其性质应继续有效的条款（知识产权、免责、责任限制等）在终止后仍然有效。

12. 适用法律

本条款适用 Google Play 上应用文件（Files，包名 com.laser.filemanager）商店列表所标识开发者所适用的法律，但您所在地强制性消费者保护规定除外。
